These are good action photos. They represent a problem I'm often faced with when shooting baseball though. The backgrounds are cluttered. I have a couple great action shots of first base pickoff attempts with everything from moving vans to farm tractors in the background :)

Yeah, it's an ongoing challenge. I can PS the bad stuff, but that takes time, and sometimes I just don't have the time.

What settings are you using, if you don't mind me asking? These are really great captures, but they seem a little blown out. It might help you to choose a faster shutter speed, which will help get rid of those as well as stopping the action (although you don't seem to have a problem there!). After all, you can always bring detail out of shadows but you can't ever put it back in hotspots :(
